1. What was your motivation for joining the 90-Day Challenge?
I last ran a half marathon race in May 2013. That was my 10th consecutive annual half marathon race. I had just turned 59 and decided to take a bit of a breather from running. I noticed in late July of this year that I had gained some weight so I started running a mile a week. In August, I decided to challenge myself to run another half marathon.
2. What was your 90-Day goal?
My goal was to complete my training and run the half marathon and finish in a better time than the last 2 races that I ran. My 2012 time was 2 hours 18 minutes and my 2013 times was 2 hours 31 minutes. I finished my half marathon this year in 2 hours 14 minutes in 34° weather. This was 4 minutes better than my 2012 time.
3. How did your Health Pack help you to achieve your goal?

4. How has the Challenge positively impacted your life?
With the Challenge I have reduced my weight, gotten back into running and also started participating in other activities like yoga.

To commit yourself fully to what you want to accomplish, in that way you will do what it takes to attain your goal.
