Before NeoLife, we felt like we were stuck. We were working minimum wage jobs at a local casino. My weight was affecting every aspect of my life. We looked into gastric bypass surgery as the solution, but it was too expensive. David was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and dealing with huge daily blood sugar fluctuations. The monthly insulin and equipment costs averaged $800. We used to think we would be in debt forever and that being tired and feeling sad occasionally was just how we were supposed to feel.
